Test results
You can ask for your test result by either contacting reception or via SystmOnline (please note you will require login details for this which you can get from the reception desk)
The receptionist can read the comment added by the Clinician who filed your results. However they are not qualified to provide any additional information. If this is required then please book an appointment with one of the clinicians to discuss further. Please note, if an action is required, you will be contacted either by sms or telephone.
When to chase test results
The time in which it takes for the results to be returned will vary. Most results usually take up to five working days. Please ask the clinic conducting the investigation for the expected time.
Please call the surgery after sufficient time has elapsed between the hours of 13:00pm and 15:00pm for information regarding your results.
Our reception staff are not qualified to comment on results therefore it is your responsibility to check them and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor.
Confidentiality and Data protection
Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
